Matthew Fisher
Matthew Fisher is a Senior Accountant in the Accounting Services Department at Puryear & Noonan CPAs, where he brings both experience and enthusiasm to supporting clients with their accounting needs. Energized by the opportunity to work collaboratively, Matthew enjoys helping individuals and businesses achieve their goals while building lasting relationships along the way.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and later completed his Certificate of Accountancy at Lipscomb University. He is also proud to have earned his CPA designation and is working toward reactivating his license through continuing education. Prior to joining P&N, he gained valuable professional experience, including a unique stint with the Nashville Sounds, where he occasionally filled in as the team mascot, Ozzie the Cougar.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time outdoors—hiking, playing tennis, and attending sporting events. He also values time with friends and family and loves being part of the Nashville community. A fun fact: although his last name is Fisher, he’s never actually caught a fish!
