Patrick McInnis
Patrick is a Manager in the Audit and Attest Department at Puryear & Noonan CPAs, where he specializes in audits of nonprofit organizations, for-profit businesses, and pension plans. With expertise across multiple areas of the audit discipline, he is valued for his versatility, technical skill, and ability to adapt to a wide range of client needs. Patrick is energized by delivering high-quality service that builds trust and contributes to positive outcomes for clients, aligning closely with the firm’s values of integrity, empathy, and excellence.
Originally from Nashville, Patrick earned his accounting degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Before beginning his public accounting career, he gained hands-on experience in small businesses, working as both a kitchen manager and a project manager in the construction trade. These roles shaped his practical, solutions-focused approach and allow him to connect with clients on a deeper level.
Patrick especially values the strong sense of community and work–life balance at P&N, where collaboration and respect create a supportive environment for both employees and clients.
Outside of work, Patrick enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, which helps him recharge with fresh perspective. He is also passionate about the outdoors and competitive sports—whether participating, coaching, or spectating. He spends time with his son kayaking, skiing, and attending Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators games. Patrick also enjoys cooking and carpentry, hobbies that connect his creativity with his love for building and making things by hand.
