Emerald Randolph

Emerald is a Staff Accountant in the Tax Department at Puryear & Noonan CPAs, where she supports clients with tax preparation, bookkeeping, and problem-solving. Originally from Baxter, Tennessee, she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting with minors in English and Social Science from Tennessee Technological University. Emerald first joined Puryear & Noonan as an intern before being hired full time, bringing with her a unique background that includes prior experience as a Water Chemist at Aqua Pools in Cookeville.

What Emerald values most about working at Puryear & Noonan is the flexibility and supportive culture that allows her to grow professionally while staying true to herself. She thrives on preparing entity returns, helping clients understand the “why” behind their tax situations, and solving tricky bookkeeping “puzzles.” Colleagues admire her curiosity and commitment to making complex concepts easier for clients to grasp.

Outside of work, Emerald enjoys traveling, swimming, reading, writing, and coloring. A fun fact: she often watches international films and dramas in Korean and Chinese, blending her love of storytelling with her interest in other cultures.
