Kels Fitzpatrick, CPA

Kels leads the Advisory Services Department at Puryear & Noonan CPAs, where he partners with clients to bring clarity and confidence to their financial decision-making. By combining his business ownership background with his accounting expertise, Kels helps business owners and nonprofit leaders evaluate options, solve complex challenges, and move forward with strategies that create long-term value. Known for his warmth and sense of humor, Kels makes the advisory process approachable and engaging, helping clients feel at ease even when tackling complex financial issues.

Kels’ career began in a small family business in Nashville, where he spent twenty years working in nearly every capacity before he and his father sold the business. Following that major pivot, he earned his Master of Accountancy from Belmont University’s Massey Graduate School of Business in 2017 and then gained experience in GAAP financial accounting with a large publicly traded healthcare company in Nashville. He earned his CPA license during this time and, in 2020, joined P&N—returning to his roots of serving small businesses and the people who run them.

Outside of work, Kels is an avid tennis player who enjoys the outdoors and traveling with his wife, Jamie.
