Caleb Wood, CPA

Caleb is a Senior Accountant in the Tax Department at Puryear & Noonan CPAs, where he helps clients save money and find solutions that make a real difference in their financial lives. He values the supportive culture at Puryear & Noonan, where leadership genuinely cares about employees and emphasizes work–life balance—a quality he believes sets the firm apart in the accounting industry.

One of Caleb’s proudest professional accomplishments is earning his CPA license, which has deepened his technical expertise and strengthened his ability to create GREAT experiences for clients. Known for his approachable style and commitment to excellence, Caleb is passionate about delivering strategies that empower individuals and businesses alike.

Born and raised in Brentwood, Tennessee, Caleb received his BBA in Accounting from Lipscomb University and his MS in Accounting from Maryville University of St. Louis. He began his journey at Puryear & Noonan as an intern before joining full time in 2022.

Outside of work, Caleb is a die-hard sports fan—you’ll rarely catch him missing a Tennessee Titans or Vanderbilt Commodores game. He also enjoys days on the lake, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their dogs.
