Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive tax services in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build strong client relationships by deeply understanding their business needs, communicating clearly, and offering timely updates on engagement progress.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks while managing tax provision and compliance processes.
  • Lead and coordinate tax audits, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulations.
  • Implement best practices to improve processes and innovate tax planning strategies.
  • Manage, review, and provide feedback on complex income tax returns.
  • Research complex tax issues, collaborating with key stakeholders to recommend creative solutions.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff, contributing to their career growth and readiness for promotion.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while leveraging project management, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of recent experience in an accounting firm, managing multiple tax engagements and projects. Additional Industry experience is a plus.
  • Proven expertise as a Tax Manager with in-depth knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and tax returns.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience with complex tax compliance and planning; estate tax experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional client service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Leadership and staff management skills with a focus on performance and development.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or MA in Taxation.
  • CPA License or EA required.

Tax Staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare corporate, fiduciary, partnership, non-profit and individual income tax returns.
  • Deliver comprehensive tax services in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
  • Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.

Qualifications

  • Public Accounting experience (0-2 years).
  • Working knowledge of tax software and MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both staff and clientele.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • BA in Accounting.

Tax Senior

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive tax services in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build strong client relationships by deeply understanding their business needs, communicating clearly, and offering timely updates on engagement progress.
  • Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
  • Implement best practices to improve processes and innovate tax planning strategies.
  • Mentor tax staff and aid in staff trainings.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while leveraging project management, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 3-5  years’ experience in a related role required.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Exceptional client service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or MA in Taxation.
  • CPA License preferred.

Audit Staff

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Auditor to join our growing CPA firm. In this role, you will assist in performing audits for a diverse client base across various industries. You’ll work closely with senior auditors and managers to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements for non-profit and for-profit clients.
  • Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial statement accounts.
  • Document audit procedures and findings in accordance with firm and professional standards.
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to senior team members.
  • Prepare work papers and assist in drafting financial statements and audit reports.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Stay current on accounting and auditing standards (GAAP, GAAS).
  • Participate in continuing professional education and firm training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 0–2 years of public accounting or audit experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CaseWare, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA certification preferred.
