Steven Wright, CPA

Steven Wright joined Puryear & Noonan, CPAs as a Senior Tax Manager in our Nashville office. He earned his Master of Accountancy from Lipscomb University and brings seven years of experience helping individuals and businesses navigate complex tax matters and plan for the future.

From 2019 to 2025, Steven lived and worked in London, where he advised U.S. individuals and businesses living and operating abroad on U.S. tax compliance and foreign reporting requirements. His experience working with clients across borders gave him a unique perspective on the challenges that can come with navigating the U.S. tax system while living or doing business internationally.

A Nashville native, Steven is excited to be back in Middle Tennessee and closer to the community he grew up in. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, playing soccer, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors with his family and their dog. He especially enjoys getting out for walks and finding new places to explore together.

Steven values getting to know his clients beyond their tax returns and believes that good tax advice starts with understanding the people, businesses, and goals behind the numbers.
