Sophia Steinke

Sophia is a Staff Accountant in the Tax department at Puryear & Noonan, CPAs, where she supports Nashville-area clients with individual and business tax preparation. Originally from Kenosha, Wisconsin, she is finishing her final year at Lipscomb University, where she is pursuing a degree in accounting and working toward her CPA licensure.

Sophia first joined P&N as an intern in the spring of 2026 before being hired on over the summer. What she enjoys most about working here is the problem solving that comes with the work, along with the chance to build a strong foundation in tax that she’ll carry with her throughout her career. She values being in an environment that promotes learning and growth while keeping things fun, and she’s passionate about building community and connection, both with clients and with her colleagues.

Outside of work, Sophia enjoys rock climbing, line dancing, and playing volleyball. She also has a love of travel and is always looking forward to her next trip.
