Kate Pillion

Kate is a Staff Accountant in the Tax department at Puryear & Noonan, CPAs. Originally from Connecticut, she made her way to Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance with a collateral in accounting. She later moved to Nashville and earned her Master of Accountancy from Belmont University, and she is currently working toward becoming a CPA.

Kate enjoys that no two days in tax are the same, and she loves the problem solving that comes with the job. She’s excited to continue learning and growing in her career while getting to know the clients and people she works with along the way, and she especially appreciates being part of a team where she can ask questions, learn from those around her, and keep building her confidence as a young professional.

Outside of work, Kate is happiest spending time with her friends and family. She loves finding new coffee shops around Nashville, trying restaurants she hasn’t been to before, and going for walks around the city. Whether she’s catching up with friends over coffee, trying a new dinner spot, or spending time with family, she loves any excuse to be around the people she cares about.
